Peter Krogsgaard - CCO, Head of Commercial & Passenger Journey

Peter Krogsgaard

In 2014, Peter Krogsgaard assumed the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Copenhagen Airports A/S, with responsibility for all commercial activities. Subsequently, Peter Krogsgaard has also become responsible for Communications & Media, as well as responsible for the passenger experience throughout the airport.

Peter has a background in both the Consumer and Business-to-Business sectors, from a number of leadership positions in various companies within the IT and telecommunications industries, including Telia, 3 mobile, and others, and most recently at Fujitsu as CEO for Denmark and Norway, and Head of Product Division for the Nordic region.

In addition to his position at Copenhagen Airports A/S, Peter holds several board positions, including Chairman of the Board for Spejder Sport A/S and board member of Odense Letbane P/S.

Peter Krogsgaard holds an MBA Executive from AVT Business School, supplemented by education from IMD Business School and London Business School.



Kristoffer Plenge-Brandt – COO, Head of Safe & Secure Operations

In February 2024, Kristoffer Plenge-Brandt was appointed COO of Copenhagen Airports A/S, after having been acting COO since September 30, 2023. He is also the Accountable Manager with regulatory responsibility towards the Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority.

From 2022-2024, Kristoffer Plenge-Brandt held the position of Operational Manager and Traffic Manager in Operational Airport Services, with responsibility for the operational airport services in both Copenhagen and Roskilde.

Kristoffer Plenge-Brandt started at Copenhagen Airports in 2006 and initially held several different leadership positions within finance, real estate, and other management support. In 2011, he took over responsibility for CPH's project portfolio, including execution and development. In 2019-2020, Kristoffer was stationed in Istanbul, where he supported the top management in the opening of Istanbul Airport.

Prior to joining Copenhagen Airports A/S, Kristoffer held various positions in controlling and analytics at Statoil A/S and Iveco North Europe. His educational background includes an HD in Marketing Management from 2002 and an HD in Management Accounting and Process Management from 2007, both from CBS, as well as an Executive MBA from AVT Business School in 2012.



Maria Skotte - CSO, Head of Sustainability Services

Maria Skotte was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer at Copenhagen Airports A/S in February 2024 and is tasked with ensuring that sustainability is incorporated into the airport's projects, activities, and decision-making processes.

She joined the company in 2022 as Director of Sustainability Services, responsible for developing and implementing the sustainability strategy across the airport.

Prior to joining Copenhagen Airports A/S, Maria held various positions related to climate, innovation and sustainability. This includes serving as Vice President of the cluster organisation CLEAN and as a sustainability consultant for both NIRAS and EY. Additionally, Maria has experience from Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy), where she worked with carbon credits and climate partnerships.

She holds a Master's degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from KVL (now the University of Copenhagen).



Christian Lyngaae Saugman – CIO, Head of Digital

Christian Saugman joined Copenhagen Airports A/S in February 2024, where he assumed the newly created role of CIO. He focuses on the business exploitation of technology and is responsible for the overall digital area across the airport.

Christian came to the airport with over 15 years of international experience in technology management, both as an independent management consultant and in CIO positions at large global companies such as LEO Pharma, ISS Facility Services, and Maersk Drilling, where he and his teams have driven cross-functional technological, digital, and organisational transformations with a strong commercial focus.

Prior to this, Christian had a long commercial career, also focused on technology and the business opportunities it provides, with experience from Netdesign, CSC and TDC.

Educationally, Christian has studied at CBS-SIMI Executive and CBS. He has an ICT Mini MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration & International Management from Copenhagen Business School. In addition, Christian has continuously supplemented with leadership courses at IMD.



Lars Terp – CHRO, Head of People & Capabilities

Lars-Terp-500px.jpgIn 2022, Lars Terp started in the position of Senior Vice President for People & Capabilities at Copenhagen Airports A/S. His area of responsibility covers HR, Health & Safety, recruitment, and organizational as well as skills/competencies development at all levels.

Lars has more than 20 years of HR management experience from international businesses. His most recent positions were SVP, HR for Siemens’ Scandinavian business unit and SVP, HR at Orsted. Furthermore Lars has military training as an officer and an MBA in Management from Henley Business School.
