Air Canada celebrates its first flight to Montreal

For the first time in 43 years, there’s once again a direct route between Copenhagen and Montreal. Today Air Canada inaugurated its first flight to Montreal. The event was marked with speeches from representatives from the Canadian Embassy to the Kingdom of Denmark, Air Canada, and Copenhagen Airport. The passengers on today’s flight were treated with sliders from SSP Denmark and Juice from JOE & THE JUICE.

Montreal - the cultural capital of Canada

Montreal is renowned for its rich cultural tapestry, often referred to as the cultural capital of Canada. The city is celebrated for its vibrant arts scene, hosting numerous festivals including the Montreal International Jazz Festival and Just for Laughs comedy festival. Its historic Old Port area and stunning architecture, blending European charm with modern design, are iconic facets of Montreal's identity. Additionally, Montreal stands out for its diverse culinary landscape, boasting a wide array of restaurants that showcase both traditional Québécois cuisine and international flavors.

5 weekly flights with Boeing 787's

Air Canada currently operates 5 weekly flights to Toronto and will now serve Montreal with 5 weekly flights as well during the summer period. Both destinations are flown with the Boeing 787 "Dreamliner". We are excited to see Air Canada continue expanding its presence at CPH.
