Get through the security check easily and quickly

No matter where you are traveling, you must go through the airport's security checkpoint.

1. Have your boarding pass ready

To enter the security checkpoint, scan your boarding pass at the entrance. After that, you don't need to show the boarding pass anymore, and you can put it in your bag.

Then follow the lanes through the security checkpoint. If you are a family with children under approximately 6 years old, you can use the family lane. The staff will often guide you there.

Follow the family lane

All families with young children under 6 years old can use the family lane through our security control. Look for the small family icon on the floor after scanning your boarding pass.

If you have children under 2 years old (or children in strollers), look for the small family icon on the floor before scanning your boarding pass, as you need to use the manual entrance to the family lane

Prepare your child for security check

All travelers, including children, can be selected for additional security screening as required by authorities. Therefore, it's a good idea to prepare your child in advance, reassuring them that there is nothing dangerous associated with such security checks. If your child still feels uneasy about the situation, please reach out to our staff, so the screening can be conducted as considerately as possible.

CPH Express - Fast track

If you are traveling domestic (regional flights within Denmark) from Copenhagen Airport, you are allowed to use the CPH Express lanes.

CPH Express is located at each end of the security checkpoint between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. In most cases, they are located at track 1 and track 25.
