First flight with SAS to major SkyTeam hub

Today marked the inauguration of SAS - Scandinavian Airlines service between Copenhagen and Atlanta. The first flight was celebrated at the gate, where the many passengers on today’s flight could perfect their golfing abilities or enjoy the various American-inspired snacks provided by 7-Eleven, Gebr. Heinemann, NoCrap Gourmet Popcorn , and Mikkeller.

After a few golf swings, SAS CEO Anko van der Werff and CPH CEO Christian Poulsen both delivered official speeches commemorating this inaugural flight.

SAS will operate the route to Atlanta daily during the summer season with an Airbus A330, and five times a week during the winter season with an Airbus A350. We are, as always, thankful for SAS further enhancing its operations at CPH, and we are excited to work closely in making this significant route successful.
